Cornhole Care
Pay attention to these simple cornhole care steps to preserve your awesome set for many many many years to come!
Climate Control Counts
Temperature changes can cause wood to expand and contract, which over time could impact the look or strength of the product. For storage purposes, we recommend that you store them in a location that is below 85 degrees. Changes in the relative humidity, especially sudden changes, are the biggest concern for wood products.
A temperature controlled environment is best suited for storage of the cornhole boards. Experts suggest that the ideal range of temperature for wood storage is 70 to 72 degrees with humidity levels kept within a range between 40 and 60 percent.
Space Is Your Friend
When storing them, there should be nothing touching the cornhole boards to keep the integrity of the boards in tact. We recommend storing them flat (not upright).
Keep It Covered
To prevent scratches or damages, keep the boards covered with one of our carrying cases or cornhole covers.
We would like to remind you that our custom cornhole boards are 100% made for outdoor use but please make sure to store them in a cool, dry place and NOT outside 24/7. They can get a little wet but please do not let them get soaked. This will ensure they last for many many years!
