Edge lights are typically run around the edges of the frame, right at the edge - hence the name. It’s the best way to give the board edge visibility. However, some people choose to frame the edges lower on the sides of the frame. It’s totally up to you. Whatever you decide, they’re easy to install.
Our light strands are designed to be bright without being too bright. We just want to spruce up the look and not affect your gameplay.
The best part? You don’t have to pick a color. The lights come with a remote that allows you to change the color to whatever you want.
Hole Lights
If you like the idea of lights, you might also want to consider hole lights for your cornhole boards. These lights are designed to outline the holes in your boards and cast a glow up through them.
You can use both edge lights and hole lights if you want to. Hole lights are also easy to install. They go near the bottom of the hole so they don’t impede the beanbags. The lights are bright, but won’t negatively affect gameplay.
These lights last a long time and just like the edge lights, they come with a remote so you can choose whatever color you want. These actually come in a circle that’s designed to fit a standard hole on regulation cornhole boards.
Scorecards
Scorecards don’t necessarily spruce up your board, but they can certainly spruce up your game. We have a few options. You can choose a scorecard system that attaches directly to your boards and has magnets for scorekeeping. Or you can choose a stand scoreboard with two drink holders attached.
Whichever you choose, it’s a great way to make keeping score easier for everyone. The scorekeepers just go from 0-21, so you could potentially use them for other games besides cornhole if you wanted to.
